Aleron Contractors accredited by CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, IFC and NICEIC
Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) was a scheme created by experienced health and safety professionals in 1997 in a view to improve the health and safety across the UK by standardising requirements. Companies with CHAS accreditation are subjected to annual assessments to ensure high levels of health and safety are adhered to. In addition to this, CHAS accreditation helps minimise the process of contractor assessments for health and safety.
SafeContractor is a scheme which is prequalifies companies who satisfy high standards of health and safety reporting and recording. Contractors accredited by this scheme will not require completing multiple pre-qualification questionnaires, saving both time and money.
Constructionline was set up by the UK government as a central register for pre-qualified contractors and consultants. This register provides procurement and supply chain management services, helping buyers source relevant suppliers.
Builder’s Profile is a Common Database service that addresses the costs, complexities and communication overheads of multiple PQQs and compliance information by providing a common database for the construction industry.
NICEIC contractors are assessed on a regular basis to ensure they are competent and capable of meeting the relevant technical and safety standards, codes of practice and rules of the schemes they are registered to. These contractors are authorised to self-certify their work to Local Building Control Bodies which saves both time and money when undertaking work that requires notification under the Building Regulations.
